Nursery Healthy Meals and Snacks
At Wrockwardine Wood Infant School and Nursery, we are committed to promoting healthy lifestyles by offering nutritious food, healthy snacks, and regular opportunities for hydration throughout the day.
Healthy Snacks and Milk
- All children in Nursery receive a healthy snack each day, including fruit.
- Milk is available daily as part of the nursery snack routine.
Water and Hydration
- Water is freely available throughout the day.
- Children have access to cups and are encouraged to pour their own drinks from jugs during snack times, promoting independence.
Nursery Lunch Options
For children attending Nursery, lunch is not included within the funded 30 hours entitlement, and therefore there is a charge for school meals.
Parents and carers can choose from the following options:
- A freshly prepared hot meal provided by Telford and Wrekin Catering
- £3.05 per day
- £15.25 per week
- A healthy lunchbox from home
All meals provided by our kitchen are freshly prepared and designed to be balanced, nutritious, and suitable for young children.
