At Wrockwardine Wood Infant School we are committed to developing each child intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. We believe the firm foundations we set down through our beliefs, curriculum and teaching will help our children to manage life’s challenges.
We strive to make our School a caring community and our children sensitive to the needs of others; a community in which all members have a sense of fairness and justice and the contribution of each member is valued.
Governors, teachers, support staff, children and parents have established a vision statement which is based on our five core values. These underpin everything we do in School and apply to all members of our School community. Please click here to read more about our vision and ethos.
We have an active and successful School Council to ensure children learn about how to stay safe, in School, when they are at home, online or out in the community. The children play an active role in making decisions and contributing to the ethos of our School.
I always encourage an open dialogue with parents. Staff are on the playground each morning and at the end of the school day. Please feel free to talk through any concerns you may. If you require an appointment to speak with me please do so through the school office. I look forward to seeing you in and around school.
Please watch the video below to see our school in action.
