Vision and Values

Our Vision

Love, Laugh, Learn

At Wrockwardine Wood Infant School & Nursery, our vision is built on a foundation of core values and strengthened by a focus on developing essential learning powers:
Resourcefulness, Reciprocity, Reflectiveness, and Resilience.

We recognise that a child’s first and most important relationships are with their family. These early attachments are key to a child’s wellbeing and development. Our role is to complement and build on these bonds by fostering a strong sense of belonging and forming secure, positive relationships with every child. We believe that when children feel safe, connected, and valued, they are empowered to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our goal is to create a warm, inspiring, and nurturing environment where every child is at the heart of all we do. Through meaningful experiences, thoughtful planning, and appropriate challenge, we support children to become deeply engaged in their play, learning, and exploration.

As a federation, we are committed to building an inclusive, forward-thinking, and united school community. We embrace diversity, welcome change, and value the unique contributions of every child, family, and member of staff. We believe that education is most powerful when it is built on genuine collaboration and shared purpose.

We want our children to:

  • Love learning, life, and one another

  • Celebrate differences and become kind, responsible citizens

  • Think creatively and solve problems with confidence

  • Work together, recognising the strength in teamwork

  • Persevere and strive for excellence with motivation and resilience

  • Respect themselves, others, and the world around them

  • Feel safe and be confident to be honest—with themselves and with others

  • Achieve their full potential and be the very best they can be
