SEND Information Report

At Wrockwardine Wood Infant School & Oakengates Nursery Federation, we are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their starting point, achieves their full potential. We believe that all children have the right to a broad, balanced, and inclusive education that enables them to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

This SEND Information Report explains how we identify, assess, and support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in line with the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and the Equality Act (2010).

Our aim is to:

Identify children’s needs as early as possible
Work in partnership with parents, carers, and outside agencies
Provide high-quality teaching and targeted support to meet individual needs
Promote independence, resilience, and confidence in every learner

Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) oversees SEND provision and works alongside teachers, teaching assistants, and specialist professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
