What will my child need for school?

School uniform plays a key role in promoting pride, self-confidence, and a feeling of belonging at Wrockwardine Wood Infant School and Nursery. Children wear their uniform with pride, whether they are in school or out and about in the local community.

Our colours are royal blue, black, and grey.

Uniform Requirements

Logo Items (available from Baker and Son ):

Royal blue sweatshirt, cardigan, or zoody with school logo
Royal blue T-shirt for Physical Education (PE)
Royal blue PE bag
Royal blue book bag

Non-logo Items (can be purchased from local supermarkets):

White polo shirt
Grey or black trousers, skirts, or pinafores
Sensible shoes for safety (no open toes or heels)
Tights in black, navy, or grey

Physical Education (PE) and Sport Lessons:

Black shorts or jogging bottoms
Trainers for outdoor PE
Royal blue PE T-shirt

Summer Wear:

Blue gingham dress
Smart black or grey shorts

Additional Information:

Label all clothing clearly to avoid lost items.
Long hair must be tied back for safety and hygiene.
No shaved hair patterns are permitted.
Stud earrings only if your child has pierced ears (for safety).
Earrings must be removed for PE and sport. If your child cannot remove them, they will be covered with hypoallergenic micropore tape by staff.

At Wrockwardine Wood Infant School and Nursery, we believe every child should feel proud and confident in their school uniform — and we know how helpful it can be to have access to good-quality second-hand items.

Second-hand Uniform at School

We offer pre-loved uniform all year round. If you’d like to access any items, simply:

All items are free or low cost and provided with care — helping families and the environment.

Telford Crisis Support – School Uniform Project

We’re also proud to partner with Telford Crisis Support (TCS), who provide free school uniform to families who need it.

Clothing is mainly pre-loved, laundered, and in good condition.
Uniform packs are prepared based on availability — first come, first served.
TCS will do their best to help with sportswear requests too, though availability may vary.
The service runs all year round — for both requests and donations.
Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a message confirming collection details.
